|
Tree FellingTree felling or removal is a technical process performed by professionals and require us to follow OSHACT standards to safely remove and fell trees on our customers’ property. Our goal is to safely take down the tree using roping methods and specialised equipment to avoid any damage. Before we start with any tree felling operation, we will assess the tree’s health and the best way to securely remove branches. Therefore, our team is qualified to assess the trees and to advice our clients of the best solution. All tree felling operators are accredited and make use of double lanyards. |
Sectional FellingThis is the removal of either part of, or the entire tree, by cutting it into smaller pieces. We cycle the pieces of tree we removed, either in mulch or logs for firewood. View our products. |
InjuriesThe most common injuries occur with chainsaw use, and the lack of proper protective equipment and gear. The required safety gear such as chainsaw pants, hard hats, eye protection and ear protection is part of the OHSACT standard, which should be worn at all times. A first aider should always be present or readily available during tree felling operations. |

Stump Grinding
|
Stump GrindingStump grinding is the removal of tree stumps after a tree has been cut down and removed. A 900mm wide clear access is required for the stump grinding machine. To start the process of sump grinding it will be required to clear the area of any stones or rocks to avoid any accidents. The stump grinding machine will grind the stump down 300 – 350mm below ground level. Deeper grinds can be achieved if necessary. The resulting debris is a mixture of soil and small wood particles left on site; this product is normally disposed of within most gardens as mulch. When a stump grinder is operational, it is advised to refrain from standing in front of the machine. The operator will always stand next to or behind the machine, wearing safety glasses or a safety helmet with safety visor. It is the grinder operator’s duty to insure that nobody is in close range of the cutter wheel. Our team is equipped with state of the art stump grinders to achieve the best result for all our clients, either commercial or private property owners. |
